A slim, pliable demineralized cortical allograft bone sheet can be shaped using scissors or a scalpel when hydrated. It withstands sutures and can be tacked into place. Due to its flexible nature and inherent body can easily be inserted into a periosteal pouch without total refection and maintain bone contour. It is verified to be osteoinductive post-sterilization using in-vivo testing to demonstrate, histologically, the five elements of bone formation: chondrocytes, osteocytes, bone marrow, cartilage, and new bone formation.
